Financial Modeling That Actually Makes Sense

We've spent years working with businesses across Thailand who were frustrated with overly complex spreadsheets and disconnected forecasting tools. Most financial modeling felt either too academic or too simplistic. So we built something different.

Started from a Real Problem

Back in early 2023, our founder was consulting with a mid-sized manufacturing company in Bangkok. They had three different Excel files for budgeting, all with different assumptions, none of them talking to each other. The finance team spent more time reconciling numbers than analyzing them.

That's when it clicked. Companies didn't need fancier features or more automation. They needed clarity. They needed models that could actually be understood by the people using them.

We started teaching workshops on practical financial modeling—not the textbook kind, but the stuff that works when you're dealing with real cash flow issues and uncertain markets. The response was immediate. People wanted training that respected their time and gave them tools they could use the next day.

How We Think About Financial Modeling

Building scenario analysis frameworks for business decisions

Build for Decisions

Every model should help someone make a specific decision. If it doesn't, it's just fancy arithmetic. We teach participants to start with the decision first, then build backwards.

Teaching transparent financial assumptions and documentation

Transparent Assumptions

The most dangerous models are the ones where nobody remembers why a number is what it is. We emphasize documentation and assumption tracking so models stay useful over time.

Practical scenario planning for Thai business environment

Real Scenarios

Thailand's business environment changes fast. Our programs focus on building flexible models that can handle multiple scenarios without breaking or becoming incomprehensible.

Who's Behind This

We're not a huge operation. Just a small group of people who've spent way too much time in spreadsheets and actually enjoy talking about discount rates at lunch.

What We're Doing Now

Our next cohort starts in September 2025. It's a six-month program focused on building practical financial models for medium-sized businesses. We cover forecasting, scenario analysis, valuation basics, and how to present financial information to non-finance people without putting them to sleep.

Classes meet twice a week in the evening, either in person at our Bangkok location or online for participants from other regions. We keep groups small because financial modeling needs proper feedback—you can't learn this stuff from watching videos alone.

Most participants are finance professionals looking to sharpen their skills, or business owners who want to understand their numbers better. Some come from accounting backgrounds, others from operations. The mix usually creates good discussions.
